Mersey Mulch is an exciting new coloured wood chip product made entirely from recycled wood. Not only does it look incredible but it also reduces waste, which would otherwise be sent to landfill. The benefits of Mersey Mulch are: Increased Water Retention Improved Soil Structure Weed Suppression Added Nutrients to the Soil Provides Colour to Gardens Low Maintenance Protection against Temperature Fluctuations		1. We recommend laying a membrane before the Mersey Mulch. This membrane is the weed suppressor, and can be a either a permeable plastic membrane or just newspaper. 2. We recommend a depth of 50-100mm (2-4inches) of the Mersey Mulch Product. 1 cubic metre bag will cover 10 sq metres. 3. Mersey Mulch does not lose its colour over time, but due to the decomposition of the organic material we suggest a top up every 3 - 4 years.
